Mischa Toland, a nationally-known expert on the subject of bullying in schools, will address the students of Consortium College Preparatory High School on April 6-7th.  She comes to us from Greatness Now.  Her topic is "Bullying Awareness."

Ms. Toland is a motivational speaker, an accomplished author, and an expert on human development.  She has worked in the nonprofit sector, the for-profit sector, the juvenile justice system, and the educational system for over 20 years.  She has spoken at countless conferences and has written 17 books.  We are very excited to hear her message about this important topic.

Bullying affects students, families, and schools.  A large percentage of American kids have been bullied by their peers at some time in their lives.  Even President Obama recently disclosed that he was the victim of bullying as a child.  Ms. Toland brings a message of understanding, self-affirmation, and hope that young people will grow up in a positive way.  We welcome her to our community.
